Phew! I have finished two more caps! And I have posted all 3 pieces of caps to Kusarungkan Kasih.
But not the purple and yellow cap in my previous post. I cancelled that one. These two are different.
One is a crocheted basketweave beanie. I made it using milk cotton yarn.
Another is a knitted ribbed beanie which I made using a combination of natural cotton and milk cotton yarns.
Aren’t they sweet?
I admit, learning to knit has been a very challenging experience. I lost count of how many times I had to undo my knits & purls, starting from the foundation. But all those headaches and frustrations were worth the experience and knowledge that I attained. I would do this again, and I am doing another one, actually. 😀
I made this particular ribbed hat/beanie based on a pattern from Red Heart and a wonderful tutorial by Yolanda Soto Lopez (you can easily find it on youtube). A note of caution though, when you are about to knit the crown part, please do not follow the video tutorial, stick to the instructions in the Red Heart pattern.
That’s all for now. 😀
