This month’s IHSW was held a week earlier, probably to compensate for last month’s absence and will most probably continue this week as well because this weekend (21st-23rd November) is the actual IHSW. I really enjoy my stitching weekends! 😀
I know I have a lot of WIPs tucked everywhere, but as I have a few things to send to a friend who has moved to the USA, I thought I might as well send her a specially handmade cross stitch Christmas card, too.
I stitched this last Saturday and Sunday, on a 14 ct Aida :

This little Owl is sitting in my new organizer box with my newly acquired bobbins & thread cutter
I obtained the chart (‘What A Hoot’) for free from Cross-Stitching.com and also managed to waste some time doing a few unpickings, as usual. I blame it on the fact that I was stitching while watching Grimm. I knew it was bound to happen, but I couldn’t resist stitching while watching my favourite shows.
‘What A Hoot’ is almost complete – I only need to do some simple backstitchings and attach it onto a card. And then, this Little Owl will fly to Claremont, California.
Now, how was your IHSW?
Betka

Gosh, Betka, my thoughts exactly – it really does look like a penguin! 😀

Jelez…jgn x jelez..! Hahaha! 😀 Org ada baby, mmg gitu. Dulu saya pun payah nak dpt time utk buat stitching, anak2 mcm tangga. Setahun baru 1 atau 2 je siap. Youngest saya dah 5 thn, so blh la dibiar2 skrg, plus ada abg & kakak utk tlg. Your time will come nanti.

Penguin yang cute!
Yati dulu tak boleh ber-cross stitch depan tv. Kena duduk dalam bilik diam-diam baru bole buat. 😀
Zurainny Ismail
Hehehe…boring kalau tengok tv tak buat apa2. Kalau dah abis lipat kain-baju, potong bawang/sayur, atau buat cross stitch/crochet pula…:D Sudah balik2 buat silap pun tetap x serik jg.
