My plan to rearrange the living room last Saturday, spread into some gardening activity and ‘vetting’ of bookshelves (so many old books and magazines to put into boxes). The next day, while I was still in organizing/recycling mood, I recruited my kids to set aside their unused clothes for donation. I did mine and Hubby‘s clothes. I can’t believe the amount of clothes we’ve accumulated all these years and it has been only 2 years since our last clothes donation!
Still, I managed to do some cross stitching of ‘No. 1 Dad’ in the wee hours of Sunday morning, after Subuh. Just the easy parts : cross stitching the letters ‘A’ and ‘D’ and the light blue stitches within the parameters of dark blue, so there was very little need for me to refer to the chart.
After almost an hour :
Doing some cross stitch in such a quiet and solitary hour, even a small piece, brings such contentment… Then, it was back to work!
So, how was your cross stitching activities last weekend? I wonder – has anyone in Malaysia joined IHSW February 2013? I hope so, maybe one day we could meet up – the more, the merrier! Happy cross stitching everyone!

No. 1 Dad looks like a cute project. Your stitching is beautiful!
Thank you so much! Wow, a visit from fellow IHSW stitcher – your ‘A Bit of March’ is so cute! I love Lizzie Kate’s designs but have not tried any yet. I’m so glad you dropped by!:)
Yati belum berkesempatan lagi untuk join IHSW ni. Sebenarnya, nak rehat kejap dari cross stitch, sebab last year, sepanjang tahun buat order cross stitch customer.
Tapi mesti seronok kan, dapat kenal stitchers lain, dapat kawan baru, mungkin belajar benda baru juga.
Hi,
Cantik cross-stich.. Thumbs up!!
Sounds like your weekend was a busy one. It’s always good to get some stitching time in, even if it’s just a little.
Yup Marcy, you’re absolutely correct.
Every little progress is progress
hehehe well done!
