This is something great for everyone to try especially for those celebrating Christmas! I’m not celebrating Christmas but I am going to make a pink one for my girls to hang on their bedroom windows.
This lovely idea came from Muffin Tin Mom and the materials needed are all easy to procure such as:
– empty toilet paper rolls (each roll makes about one star)
– scissors
– glue
– clothespins
– white glitter
How to make it: Grab some old toilet paper rolls, and cut them into ¾” rings. Glue the tips of five rings together, and use a clothespin to hold them together as they dry. Then, paint each one white. While it’s still wet, sprinkle with glitter to get the Christmas shimmer of a starry night.
Better still, click on Muffin Tin Mom and you’ll see a very helpful picture tutorial (complete with the clothespin) which makes this project so easy to do!

Thank you, WandaSue. I hope you don’t mind if I post the link to your articles here in my site. The Bright Flower Throw reminds me of something I crocheted a few years back but I lost it when we moved to a new house.
