It’s been a long time since I last crocheted an amigurumi. The reason is simple – making an amigurumi is no easy task. It involves assembling little pieces together and I really am not that diligent. Hats off to those who have made more than a few amigurumis!
However, an event made me want to give it a try once more. Getting crochet amigurumi pattern is easy, it’s deciding on the one to crochet that is super difficult. After looking at dozens of pattern, I finally chose a crochet amigurumi pattern from All About Ami which comes complete with a picture tutorial. Spring Bunnies are so adorable, they are totally hard to resist.
The main ingredients are yarns, buttons for the eyes, a bit of fabric for the floppy ears, a bit of felt for the feet and a bit of floss to make the nose and sew the felt to the feet.
What do you think?
I believe hundreds of crocheters have already made their own Spring Bunnies and some also shared their pics which Stephanie has compiled here – a special corner for sharing the many versions of spring bunnies. It’s amazing how one pattern could produce so many individual-looking little bunnies!
