I made this cross stitched book /organizer cover about four years ago, circa 2006. After the year has passed, it was stored away inside a box when we moved to our new home.

Oftentimes, I feel so horrible when, due to space constraints, I have to throw away things that I feel is still usable. So, I bought books for ideas on how to recycle things and also fun projects for the kids & I.

So, I made another one. It's always easier the second time. I finished it within a few days. It's in a different colour card - ivory. Not as striking, of course, and I don't know why the fabric doesn't look as crisp as the previous one.
I am a klutz when it comes to identifying a colour. Beige, ivory, ecru .... they all look white to me. What about cornflower blue, baby blue - all blue? Do not start about lilac, violet, mulberry, etc.
